Bharath has 22+ years of experience in advisory, consulting, and software development. He was a member of the initial 20 people team that built Hadoop at Yahoo! He has also been a member of the Data Science team that built the recommendation engine at Netflix. His earlier assignments include being a member of the Core JVM group at Sun Microsystems, as an advisor for Boeing, Walmart, Bank of America and American Express. Bharath has multiple patents to his name.
Bharath has a Bachelor's Degree of Engineering in Computer Science from BMS College of Engineering. Bharath has accreditation in Computer Security,Search Technology, Statistical Learning, ML & Data Mining from Stanford University

As the Founder and CEO, the boardiQ, Smita's moonshot is to enable Inclusion on Boards by removing Algorithmic and Unconscious Bias in the Search, Discovery, Match, Selection and Onboarding of Inclusive Talent on to Boards and Executive Roles.
Prior to this role, Smita was Consulting Principal at Positive Moves, a Global Executive Search firm, where she helped set up their US Operations out of SF Bay Area. Smita has also spent a decade with Motorola (Motorola Inc / Motorola Google / Motorola Lenovo) where she was the Global HR Director of Motorola Mobility’s Software Organization, based out of Sunnyvale. In addition, she led the Diversity and Inclusion and HR Program Management portfolios. She has also served on the Boards of Motorola’s legal entities in India.
Prior to Motorola, Smita was the Country HR Director at MetLife, where she was instrumental in driving the people strategy in a high growth phase for the company. Smita also headed Human Resources for the India Engineering Center of Sun Microsystems, overseeing the organic growth of the center from a startup phase to becoming the largest development center for Sun outside of the US. Smita has also headed the HR function at Phoenix Global Solutions (a wholly owned subsidiary of Phoenix Home Life, Hartford, Connecticut) and as Manager, HR at IBM.
Smita has an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. She also has an accreditation from Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts, USA. Smita completed the Stanford University Accelerate Your Start Up Idea Course in 2019.
Smita has been a recipient of many awards including 2017 Most Influential HR Leaders Award Conferred by CHRO Asia, World HRD Congress and Times Ascent, 2016 Women Super Achiever Leaders Award Conferred by World HRD Congress as well as the 2015 50 Most Influential Tech HR Leaders Conferred by Asia Pacific HR Congress.
Smita volunteers and serves on the Board of the Bay Area HR Executive Council, a SHRM Affiliate Organization. She additionally volunteers as a Global Advisor with How Women Lead, a San Francisco headquartered Women's Empowerment Organization.
